Well, hello there and welcome to Them Dogs. For our first post, we thought an introduction of sorts would be appropriate. Here is a little about who we are and what Them Dogs is all about.
Them Dogs Blog & Online Store
Them Dogs is a dogs blog and online store, catering to those of us who love dogs and to the dogs that own us. I don’t know about you, in our house – our dogs let us think we own them, but they really own us. Humor is a must in life, especially when it comes to Them Dogs.
We are a family online business, dogs included. Let us introduce you to the entire Them Dogs staff!

Mom & Dad
Fur Children: Suzi and Guy
Human Children: Elijah, Zeke, Izaiah and Zowie

We live on a yellow farmette with 2 acres outside of Dallas, TX. While our 2 dogs are currently our only domesticated pets (the country brings you all types of undomesticated pets!) – that will be changing soon!
Let’s introduce you to Them Kids Leadership Team – the dogs.
Suzi – The Black Goldendoodle
Our black goldendoodle, Suzi is 2 and a half years old. She is little in the family photo, but you can see – she is now quite the beast. While she only weighs 50 pounds, which most is probably fur – she is extremely long / tall.
Suzi’s favorite thing to do is be carried like a toddler. I am not even kidding! Ever since she was that cute little black goldendoodle puppy that we fell in love with – we have carried her. Now, even lanky and 50 pounds – she wants to be hugged and carried.
Another fave of Suzi’s is jumping on the trampoline. It’s quite comical as she can jump from the ground straight up to the trampoline!
Guy – The Pug Dog
The fawn pug dog, Guy recently celebrated his 5th birthday. Today, he weighs just over 20 pounds – tomorrow, who knows! This pug’s weight changes constantly. Somedays we look at him and he looks like a fat pug, other days he looks like a trim pug – the excess skin doesn’t help his appearance.
Guy’s favorite thing to do is boss Suzi around. While he is tiny in comparison, he has quite the dominant personality.
When he isn’t being a bully about dog food, toys and dog treats – he is typically wrapped in a blanket, cuddled up next to someone on the couch.
Fun fact: Both Suzi and Guy were named after their grandparents. It’s always hilarious (to us) when the grandparents are over and they think we are yelling for them, when its actually for the dogs.
Our Why
With entrepreneurial parents, and living in the country – we thought the best teen jobs for our kids would be to launch a family business. Each of our kids (and adults!) have a passion for dogs and our teens have jumped in to this new family business full on! We are excited to launch Them Dogs and help educate our kids on the in’s and out’s of starting an online business and pursing a passion.
Giving Back
In addition to raising kids with a love for dogs and understanding of how a business is ran, our family is passionate about finding ways to give back with both time and money. This is a core value for our family that we collectively agree will be a core value for Them Dogs. More on this as we get things under way.
